3. Appointment Booking and Consultation
Initial Consultation
All new clients must attend an initial consultation before any treatment. This consultation includes:
- Assessment of suitability for treatment
- Discussion of expectations and realistic outcomes
- Explanation of procedures, risks, and aftercare
- Patch testing where required
- Photography for treatment planning
Booking Requirements
To book treatments, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate health and contact information
- Disclose any medical conditions or medications
- Agree to pre-treatment requirements (e.g., avoiding blood thinners)
4. Payment Terms
Consultation Fees
Consultation fees are non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking. If you proceed with treatment, the consultation fee may be deducted from the treatment cost.
Treatment Payments
- Payment is required in full before treatment commences
- We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers
- Payment plans may be available for certain treatments
- All prices include VAT where applicable
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Client Cancellations
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling available
- 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund, rescheduling available
- Less than 24 hours: No refund, rescheduling fee applies
- No show: Full payment forfeited
Our Cancellations
If we need to cancel your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer rescheduling or a full refund.
6. Treatment Conditions and Consent
Medical Suitability
You may not be suitable for treatment if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have certain medical conditions (diabetes, autoimmune disorders, etc.)
- Are taking specific medications (blood thinners, retinoids, etc.)
- Have active skin conditions in the treatment area
- Have had recent cosmetic procedures in the treatment area
Informed Consent
You acknowledge that you have been informed of and understand:
- The nature and purpose of the treatment
- Potential risks and complications
- Expected healing process and timeline
- Aftercare requirements
- The possibility of additional sessions being required
7. Aftercare and Healing
Your Responsibilities
After treatment, you must:
- Follow all provided aftercare instructions
- Avoid specified activities (swimming, sun exposure, etc.)
- Use only recommended products on the treated area
- Contact us immediately if you have concerns about healing
- Attend any follow-up appointments as scheduled
Healing Expectations
Healing times vary between individuals. Initial healing typically takes 7-14 days, with full healing and final results visible after 4-6 weeks.
8. Results and Guarantee
Treatment Results
While we strive for excellent results, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Results depend on individual factors including:
- Skin type and condition
- Healing ability
- Adherence to aftercare instructions
- Lifestyle factors
Touch-up Policy
Most treatments include a complimentary touch-up session within 8 weeks of the initial treatment. Additional touch-ups may incur charges.
9. Photography and Marketing
With your written consent, we may use before/after photographs for:
- Treatment planning and records
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Training and educational purposes
- Website and social media content
You can withdraw consent for marketing use at any time.
10. Liability and Insurance
Professional Indemnity
We maintain comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance as required by professional standards.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Complaints and Disputes
Complaint Procedure
If you have a complaint:
- Raise the matter directly with us within 14 days
- We will investigate and respond within 28 days
- If unresolved, you may refer to relevant professional bodies
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law, and disputes will be resolved in English courts.
